Grrr knackered transom 2 weeks to race!!

Was just aboyut to get my 115 on my p16 for the races in two weeks and discovered the transom has a big split down it which flex's so iv had no choce but to take her over to sark where a boatbuilder mate of mine thinks he can rip out the old transom and build up a new one and strengthen it up in time for the race.... i dunno if he can do it but i still have hope i know its a tall order but we will see..... ah well its not entirely unexpected when owning a boat though they are nothing but moneypits i suppose

looks like i may be getting a ring 17 limited edition, will have a look tomorrow and see, should be okay with the 115 as its virtually the same as the 16ft hull and the 115 has the potential to be a 140hp,
