Help!

Currently doing research for another film - we are looking for a piece of water with the minimum dimensions of - 150' X 100' X 6' deep - the tricky bit is it needs to be covered! If anyone has any suggestions you can reply here or email me at cookee@bananasharkracing.com or phone me on 07836 268747 and sadly exotic locations in far flung countries are no help - it haws to be the UK!

Any help is appreciated,

An olympic size swimming pool is 164' x 82' -- is that near enough?

Nice try John - need it for a few weeks and they arn't 6' deep at the shallow end and it's a bit narrow - otherwise perfect!

Thanks though!

The largest covered dry dock in Europe is at Appledore www.appledore-shipbuilders.co.uk -- I think that might be big enough, but I'm not sure if you'd get it for a few weeks.

Hi cookee,

you could try pallion engineering ltd 0191 564 0404, they have a very large covered dry dock in sunderland they might do a deal in one of their slower periods. if you do a search they have a not very good web site but will give you an idea.

hope this helps

regards john
