Labrador Boats

Back in the eighties Labrador boats were built by a family boat business in York, I can't remember the name of the company but the builder was called Jim and he named the boats Labrador after his dog.
Not much help I know but it may jog someone's memory.

The boat in the picture is a Picton from the early seventies. It was a very successful contender in Class IV offshore in its day.
Made in Bridgend, South Wales.
