Hi Tech 3000
Does anyone know anything about this boat? I bought it last year, sunk and recovered. It was owned by LPG Marine who are no longer trading. I think it was built in Norway/Sweden early 90's. Any info. would be greatly appreciated.

It was indeed owned by LPG marine who used to trade from Cobbs Quay Marina, and whilst running on LPG it supposedly held a speed record. although there has always been some doubt as to it's authenticity.
The boat sunk a few years ago, and the last time I saw it was about a year ago at Hayling Island.
I think it's a splash of a 28 Cigarette, made buy a company in Norway before they went to the USA and founded Nortech!
When the boat was in Poole it was known as "brown trousers"!

Rather late in the day and you may not still have her. But I'm the man you bought it from. And of course I know a lot about it. Contact me if you like. I'd like to know what happened after you bought it ! Cheers Mike N

They were built in Sweden by a Norvegian crew (Nortech). I believe the 3000 was built in the early 90's as stated. I had a High Tech 39 at one point, which was a 38 cig splash wich I bought 88. They also had a 5000. Not too many around. The 3000 had similarities with the bullet, suspect the hull is a shorther version of the 39.

That was my boat! I bought it from LPG. It sank when I was working on the engines. It had 2 new V8 engines and outdrives. Went like a train! Bought by a chap in Chatham. Any questions just ask me, I do know that boat very well and I also owned the phantom boat Cordite!
