Long time lurker but first time poster.

So is this the real deal?
I read something on the forum some time ago that alot of the phantoms in the Netherlands are knockoffs? How can you tell?

So if i go down there to have a look, (Im from Sweden so) what should i look out for? What is the common problems with these boats?

I would be very happy for some help and information.

Looks like it's got gash steps, and the year says 2006. Knockoff!

ohh that easy.. was hoping the year might be a miss type. didnt think about the gashsteps though..

Its a copy; with the same steps as one that briefly raced in the UK. I the steps were a bit of a failure. That turquoise/teal coloured boat has been for sale for 2 years or more.

Lol good to know, never been looking very hard for a P28. But my wife is starting to melt.

I was living in Sardinia for several years and there was a P28 running very well there but it was also a copy. (no steps thou) Was built in spain i think. So i fell in love right there.

Now when my economic situation is starting to change i have become alittle enthusiastic to find one.

Anyone know of any company that makes new hulls that are very close to the original? seems hard to find a good original one.
