As the back goes down, the front comes up. The two functions are not separate. It was going to have slotted lower front pivots too then it could have gone up, down, rake and levelled but a bit OTT, I reckoned.

So it rotates through an arc (or if it were TD's boat, an ark)

Not a lot really Bogib. I've spent the last couple of days (and a good part of the nights) wiring everything behind the dash. That should be finished today and then tested. Following that, it'll be the wiring for the navigation equipment and services. I came across a 1000watt inverter for less that a 100 quid so I'll need to lay in a safe 250v supply too.

This is a bargain inverter you have got, as we buy wholesale (from manufacturer) inverters at higher price we install into police vehicles and larger inverters for ambulances they are though fully sinus, not modified like you probably got.

Wot do you intend running off your inverter? I've a bad experience using delicate stuff with a modified sinewave inverter, it ****ed my phone charger in a couple of hours.

I use the one on my boat for making the tea the aul kettle is a pretty dumb load (greek)
