KPM Pumps and Strainers.

As some of you guys might be aware, until a few years ago you were only able to get KPM pumps and sea strainers from Trick marine in the US, but now they are finally available in the UK.

For those of you that don't know, KPM pumps are replacement inboard engine water cooling pumps. The advantage of these is not only their ability to run dry but also to withstand the ingestion of large amounts of sand without causing damage to a standard neoprene impeller. In fact EP Barrus special projects have just completed a 24 hour run dry test for us with no visable damge done to the impeller what so ever. They are now the only pumps available on the market that not only meet, but exceed SOLAS specifications.

Over the last few years KPM have been redesigning and developing their pumps for their military contracts within the UK and US armed forces. These pumps are designated "Mission Critical Components" and are essential pieces of kit to the people they are serving. Now they are available to the general public and every one made will be Gold Standard Military Specification.

We will be debuting the range of pumps at the forth coming Southampton Boatshow and you will able find us on the Mailspeed stand B076, so please come along and introduce yourselves.

Finally, I appreciate that this is a blatant trade thread I have started and I am not a full trade member yet. I can assure you all that we are sorting that out with Jon right now, but with the show only days away now I really wanted to let you guys know that we will be there with our pumps.

Thanks Jon.

I'm hoping to get the designer of KPM, Jules Morgan, to come on down at some point. Once I get a date out of him, I'll post it here and let you guys know.
