Lakes/resorts
Seeing as a certain Mr mclaren (St**** fu***** wa****) has well and truely wrecked my holidays for next year Im looking for a lake or costal resort anywhere within say 5 hours drive from Dover where I can ttake the boat. Anyone have any suggestions? Ideal would be with a campsite.
Thanks
Dan

Lakes resort
Dan, the place for you is Biscarosse France, a number of lakes close to the coast as well. The Arcachon basin actually, we have raced on one of the lakes there, but there are others which are pleasure boat friendly, we are hoping to go this year with the motorhome.

Biscarrosse
You could also take in the race at Equzon Chantome on the way down or back. Biscarrosse is lovely and because the lakes are surrounded by pine forests the water says flat.

Thanks Lads, Biscarosse looks ideal as I could get the Plymouth Roscoff ferry which is a right result.
Cheers

Thanks Bazza,
Just waiting on responces from the sites.
MrRob, fancy it? Get a few on us to go down could be a bit of a laugh. I'll hopefully be in the area from the 10th August onwards for a couple of weeks. If you go promise me you wont go topless!!
