One of my son's Kiwi ski mates has been working in the Med on the 'Secrets' superyacht all summer. (It's called Secrets because all the crew and staff are sworn to absoutely secrecy about it's clients and their activity and it costs up to £500k a week to charter).

Apparently, they received only one charter all summer, but the client was so satisfied that he lined up the crew on the last day and gave each a tip of 10,000 euros.

Obviously, there's still money around, if you know where to look.
