Little and Arthur back in 2ltr?

The good news is...

Little and Arthur seem to be coming back to 2ltr.... but where?? presumeably on our shores here....

This Saturday they arrive in Venice to test Bianchinis 2ltr cat which won the Europeans
Although the title was thrown out. But either way the boat goes like **** of a shovel! And some with them in it!!

So...it'll be nice if it all goes well. And another cat on the water as well as C12 who are buying Baronis boat!

Interesting eh folks??

Looking like some good racing next year - hopefully a good strong fleet in numbers and quality.

Should be good to see some more variation in boats as well.

I have to say, it was rather surprising how easily Roy Smith, recovering from a major surgery, put himself back in contention at Cowes. he said everyone had slowed down since he'd last raced.

The return of Pete n Dave would certainly make things look a little silly if this is the case!

I look forward to it.

Note to Pete Little:

V24 is very very booring, and you dont want to race V24. V24 is very safe and not exciting - you do not wanna race V24.....

OK..i spoke with a women who could throw light on the Italian thing... SD

They are testing a boat built by an Italian called Parley this weekend. Parley is the guy responsible for doing most of the stuff for Giovanni sarahs mate..the boat was built new for this guy called Bianchini who is very wealthy but also a mate of SDs. Apparently Parley is the best in the business, got a nice little workshop in Venice. They've been on the phone gossiping so she seems to know whats happening...They will test on the little river in Venice on Saturday..its a river that doesn't have a speed limit according to SD as she's tested on it and the conditions are perfect all the time and its right next to the crane....so up down up down fast as you like and crane....then they are invited to the racers do at the Venice Yacht club on Sat night guests of Bianchini. Its his club!
SD usually goes there....she said she wished she was there this year now!! but duty calls!!

She doesnt know why they have gone for a 2ltr cos the last she heard they were trying to strike a deal with Giovanni and rent his boat for 6 ltr, but he wouldnt rent it out....They like the Hot Boats. So why go from 6ltr where there is money to 2ltr where there is nothing then who knows!

But cant tell you any more...any enquires give SD a shout, but i dont think she knows any more cos i asked last night!

yep!! guess they will be the new World Champions 2006..and Europeans 2006..oh and National champs 2006!
