London Boat Show

Hi Been away for a bit on planet Bellarmo - hence the break - have been let out for Christmas on good behaviour.

Yesterday visited Excel centre saw how Sunseaker / Fairline or whatever move there boats into position for the grockles (inc me) to climb over during the boat show event - was impressive.

They off-loaded six 50ft plus boats inside 5 hrs. Had four cranes lifting these boats simultaneously onto wheel-able supports and then just fork lifted the boat into position. The 85ft Predator was well impressive from the point of view of the sheer scale of it all. Plus they did not hang around driving trucks forks etc around.

Anyway we got on and assembled the LM stand - which was a bit surreal, considering there were no other stands there.

Any way wishing all Boat Madders a great Christmas.

Cheers Lawrence, will you be at the show at all? We (TD and I) haven't decided on which day to go yet, but will no doubt go in a group of some sort.

See ya soon, and happy Christmas to you and the family :crimbo3:

Have any days been suggested yet?

I've just had chopper on the phone, he says it all kicks-off around the 6th and he sounds really eager to see the guiness tent, sorry i meant Ice marine stand.
