E-Mail..... asked where the boat was located and can i view ?

ANSWER WAS :

The boat is in London ( U.K )..You can view it but you have to make a deposit of 2000 GBP..

Guess that you can't view for 2 weeks (at least) due to personal reasons (constipation ? ) and the 2g would cover the shipping..............

I had exactly the same response on a Scarab 21 advertised on B&O a couple of weeks ago.

Boat looked too cheap to be true.

My guess is that the boats are in the US

The advert was placed using a computer in Selembar, near Sibiu, Romania.

This is the e mail response I got:

'Hi there,Is not possible viewing the item cause i'm not home ,but we will make this transaction through escrow.com so you will have 7 days to inspect the item before i will get your money.If you're not happy with the boat will be returned to me and you will stay with your money and keep looking for a boat.

This is just the Email Server, not the actual end user computer, but yes, you are on the right track.

realised that ...but was a quick check via www.samspade.org ...

have e-mailed PBO with details of this and a couple of other adds placed from the same account... hopefully they will be removed before some knob gets caught out ....

PS.. the reported address was far more accurate
