Lord Of The Rings does the Med

Towed her to the South of France in August, she did St Tropez, Cannes, Frejus, Nice etc. Loads of Snorkelling, swimming and cruising. Met some great people out there as well. Dream hols...

Here she is moored up in Frejus Harbour (excuse the Bimini - have a 3 month old so need the shade!)

On the beach chilling out...

Jim

Eurocamp site we stayed at:

Fresh water mooring by your static caravan that runs into the Med!

Reason we needed the Bimini:

Sites called L'Etoile D'Argens, Frejus, South of France.

Its a great part of the world Jim, my father in law lives down there and we get down there as much as we can. We were lucky enough the other year to be down in Frejus the weekend that they had a race weekend on, it was good to see a healthy amount of boats out for it.

We will be down there next in August and very much can't wait for it.

How long did it take you to tow the boat down ? i assume that you broke the trip up ? even without towing a boat we normally take 2 days and stop off in Beaune.

France took 18hrs Calais to Frejus, stopped over halfway down.

Nothing like snorkling under your boat in the crystal clear water!

Cheers,

Jim
