taz you tried your 22 chopper yet? i tried one the other day,acceleration is amazing,my co driver used to race motor bikes and he reckons take off is quicker than a bike. you are right about the engines they keep on pulling till you hit the limiter.

yeah i tried it out near southend pier monday but it was to rougth to go fast so i gotta wait for a nice calm day on da river.

It does go well just a pain in da arse through moorings revving up all da time just to go slow thats the only prob i find with a chopper but yeah its wicked

Oh yea ive never hit the limiter something to do with being scared as fcuk., max ive been is about 80mph so far

big ear i belive. I could cruise well nice with me old laser now im revving at bout 3-4k just to cruise through bluddy moorings.It takes a bit to get the bite feels like turbo lag ie when getting on plan

Na its not bad just comparing da laser to the chopper it feels like turbo lag you ave to wait for da bite. i could plain at 55mph at 5k with da 25 laser.

its all good theres just loads of moorings round eere and da laser was a good all rounder

Hate to put a dampener on your speed record, but on Conniston you can only go for world or national records, no performance boats allowed.

I do remember hearing something about the bylaws about the speed limit being firm except for world records.

Will be interesting to see if they run an enduro race. The Windermere course tended to have a few holes in it - if Coniston is slightly smoother - could be worth the 3C boys going up and having a crack.
