Marshan 19 on ebay

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MARSHAN-19...#ht_500wt_1193

Looks like it got a tunnel section at the bottom of the transom, looks like it was a cool boat in its day.

tunnel

I think marshans played about with what they called a"power slot" in about 1975ish.Seem to remember reading about it in powerboat & waterski. Don't know (can't recall) if it was any good.i assume not as the later ones didn't have them.could be wrong tho.was a long time ago.

I raced in one in ocr back in the late 80's which had this cut out. I think the idea was so that you could ran the engine higher without cooling issues. I do beleive it was nothing more technical than a cut up bucket placed in the mould.
