the two of them and a buddy were leaning on the fence at Drivers watching the Fork lift in operation in the yard next door.
had they been waching today they would have seen the forklift reverse without giving enough height for the Outdrives of the Hydrolift boat to clear the Quay Wall completely.
It's a learning curve i spose

I went for a run out in the boat on Wednesday afternoon. The dry stack guys said that Hydrolift was damaged by the owner in Ocean Village; apparantly he backed into a pontoon and damaged the boat.
I saw the boat today and there is no damage at all to the leg, prop etc; there were some guys repairing the gell coat on the stern.

So - getting myself into trouble here - Who is lying?
Did the owner back into a pontoon and damaged the boat, or did the forklift guys drag the boat through the dock wall?

I think it's safe to say that they wouldn't tell a customer that they've damaged another customers boat, so we need to ask the guy with the hydrolift if he'd like some driving lessons, and wait for his reply!

Nice boat that Hydrolift is it there demonstarator? or a privately owned boat looks cool though. I rember a skeg being damaged in another marina I worked at the guy was towing the boat behind a fork lift on a trailer reversed over a raised drain cover and snapped a portion off the skeg, some years later it turned up at Merlin Boat Park to haunt me. Accidents happen hey...

The Hydrolift is the demonstrator, I spoke to the guy at the Southampton Sports Boat and Rib show in Ocean Village.
Someone needs to contact the owner/driver and get to the bottom of this.

I think that Drivers would tell me if they dinged my boat. Or am I wrong? I would think that that would be the correct way to do things. They have moved both my boats loads of times, and especially the bladerunner is an issue to launch and recover, and they seem to be OK with that.
But is the owner of the dryberth company not a member here? No answer then?
