The Police - Bless them.

Useless as F&ck!

- I can not get the police to arrest him, because I gave him the engines, and he did not steal them! I have to follow a civil claim process to get him to return the engines. Aparently the Police in Birmingham have a different definition of theft than we do. Not returnig the engines is not theft apparently.

I am meeting up with a solicitor on my return from the USA.

Sigh.

I did notice the Springbok Motorsport website has a FAQ section...

Things like this even happen down here in NZ
Dear Sir,

I am led to believe ( due to tracing shipping documents ) that our dear Mr Springbok has shipped no less than *seven* engines to New Zealand over the past 18 months.

Specifically New Zealand.

So it is quite probable that you have stolen engines and/or engine parts in NewZealand, possibly also mine!

If you do have the ability ( or general website ) to investigate why he is shipping things to NewZealand, and what is hapening to these parts and engines when they arrive, it would be very interesting.

Marc.

Police cant hurt you as much as the Revenue, they have far more power. They can take everything you have, will have or might have.

Oh er....... had a thought, If you had to choose who would you want to be today, Springbok Mick Or Charles Clarke

Let me know what has come out, NZ is a small place and not many promax 300's are around, about when did your 300's come out here, I know of a pair of 99 models that have been imported and put on a boat, I'll have a look at the serial numbers for you if you like
if you want to ring me 00 64 21 721 738

Hi,

The guy only has the powerheads, I still have the rest of the gearbox etc. If the pair that came over were the powerheads only, then we can have a look see!

I am very interested in sorting out if anything has happened like that - I only have weights shipped to NewZealand, not the contents - and I can not confirm if it is really spair parts, or complete powerheads.

Are you assuming the NZ shipments were stolen gear, or do you have evidence?

Hope you get the motors back Tricky, sounds like a worst nightmare, not to mention a pain in the arse.
He may have been shipping the motors although a bit risky I think, my guess is he was shipping his tools/ equipment/ personal belongings, with a view to feking off without paying his debts and setting something up over there.

Hi I am Jonathan Lewis and lots of people have been telling me about this thread, well I am also one of his victims along with you, he took me for about 5K and also sold me a stolen block, he then tried to tell me not to deal with Nico Van Akleen in Belgium, who is the best engine biulder in the world and also very honest somthing Springbock will never understand. if you would like to talk to me email me lewisslowley@aol.com and we can talk about what I have in mind for him, as I have a few (lets say Debt collecter friends in Birmingham, and we no his whereabouts) so maybe we could share the costs on some form of refund from him as I also tried to get him to court but he is worth nothing and living in a council flat?? he has some numty friends also who seem oblivious to his crooked ways!! but I always get my Man and he will not be te first or the last to realise that I was the wrong one to mess about..

Regards
Jonathan Lewis

I'm guessing it's being read by Mick also. So a tighter game might be required
