I suspect you are asking about a 25sc, raced by Colin Curran. I believe it was the old Sherry & Haycock boat, which I think was originally Laura Lucy of RB fame.
Nice paint job, metalic flake!
Gordon is right about small blocks (2 X260 hp Mercruisers)

Gordon,

My San Marino was originally registered as Motivation in 1991 and was only single engined albeit I believe big block. When I got hold of her in 2000 she had a worked 454 on an old bravo and I chopped the whole lot for a new 502/Bravo.

I can't imagine she was raced but would fit the 27ft description. I understood the sports cruisers to be 25ft but maybe the same mould as mine and extra length is the bustle?

Thank you guys for your help,
Thank you Jon the one in the middle pic is the boat that i'm talking about.
Just trying to find out a bit about it for a good friend as his mate has just bought it and wants to no more about the boat, He didn't no what make it was, but was told it had big blocks fitted.
I've only seen a couple of pic's of it and it does look a bit sad at the moment. So was this the same boat that Hazardous was talking about with metal flake paint? as now it is basic colours same as your pic Jon.
I think the guy might want to sell it as it need quite a bit of work and I dont think he will want to put the time in.

Offshore Year Book For 2009

I understand from a reliable source that David Sewell will be producing another year book in 2009. Because there are fewer boats and classes now, the publication will possibly feature a section on 'Golden Oldies' and a few overseas classes. But P1 and Honda will be well represented.

Good news indeed.

If it's half as good as the 1990 book, it'll be great.
