Need some help

I am trying to put together some plans to race in Europe this summer and I have been trying to locate an old friend of mine over there.

I promised him that if I ever came over and raced, I would include him in the crew.

The e-mail address that I had for him no longer works and the phone numbers are coming up as a dead end also.

His name is Jochen Mass. He was an Ex-McLaren Formula 1 driver, from the 70's era and he also was a Le Mans winner with Mercedes in the late 80's.

He and I have been friends since the 70's and as some of you may know, he is a big boating fan. Last month's Autosport had an interview with him and it gave his current address as living in the south of France.

I would appreciate it if anyone knows of a way to get in touch with him, to ask him to contact me re racing with me this summer in either the Around Ireland Race in June or the Cowes race in August.

He can write to me at the banana boat co site:
charlie @bananaboatco.com

or the HORBA site

www.historicraceboats.com

Below are some photos of us together when we were a bit younger.... for sure.

Any help with this is much appreciated....thanks

Charlie McCarthy

Thank you.....that is the way I e-mailed him last year. He was running some type of NASCAR kind of racing over there. That seems to have shut down.

Thank you. That's a good idea, I will try them.

If any members happen to live in his neighborhood over in the south of France.....just stop by and knock on his door.

If Mercedes fails, I am in my ordinary life a supplier to Porsche.
Their Motorsportdepartment in Weissach will know where to find him.
He has been to Goodwood last autumn for the Revival and I do think he is an active reporter to Formula 1 Car races for either RTL or SKY in Germany.

So give me a hint if you still search, please.
