looks great guys, nice to see marshan boats being revived!

the only thing that bugs me if anything is the fac that the painwork isn't quite symetrical across the back or the same down the sides but thats just my personal taste! the physical work you've done changing the styling looks great!

Originally race successes were in 3b (16foot)and 3c(18 foot)
Gowellequip,Moody blue and Superstar were untouchable with straight 6 Merc and then the subsequent 175 in their day

A 19 footer was developed but the magnificent 21 foot surpassed them and cleaned up 1984ish-Privateer, Desperado are two of the greats
Great in the rough and pretty quick in the calm-a real drivers boat
I think the 18 footers ran a four bladed cleaver long before they became fashionable 1976ish

Just found some footage from OCR '92 with Ian Stirling in what i think is a marshan 21. will post when i upload to youtube.

Marshan was meant to be in Lymington challenge last week. Unfortunatly engine issues with just over 1hour on clock caused retirement. A re occuring overheat problem

What a shame hope they get it sorted out ,not good for a brand new motor

There are always going to be teething problems with setting up a new engine on a new hull.
Once they are sorted it's practice, tweaking, practice, tweaking, practice, tweak ing, race and repeat.

I missed the fine detail, but i understood it to be the water cooling lifters, or pipes in leg as a result it kept killing impellors. Hopefully Pete will get to grips of the situation and once merc do, they will be rocking

Angry

Frustratingly we took the settings from an old marshan that works perfectly and has done for over 15 years. The hull remains unchanged and the gearbox casings are identical but for some reason the new mercury didn't like it even though we set it back a further 8 inches on a lifter! Shit happens.....it will be back soon, hopefully.

just got the boat back, sorting out some props and will put it in the water tomorrow morning.
will spend the morning on set-up, then totally thrash the nuts off it, if it goes bang it goes bang. any overheats and i will personally stick this motor up someones arse.
