Always wanted to drive a CHOO CHOO,weve got the Cambrian railway preservation society as a neighbour up here, theyve only got a mile of track on one of Dr. Beechings old bits so far,but theres a gang of them gather here every weekend blowin the whistles and giving kids rides, even built a little station with a platform selling ice creams and train memoabiblia, got a steam loco,a diesal and a load of rolling stock, big boys with big toys, pop up and have a look if you are ever passing, nothing wrong with trains mate, specially steam, they like a pint too

Yes i might just do that, always wanted to go to shropshire, lovely part of the country Shrewsbury and all the castles etc.

I run out of Liverpool st to Norwich and we quite often have the Oliver Cromwell Britania class Pacific steam Engine run from Norwich to London, which was what the Britania class where built for. Also the brand new Steam Engine they built does runs too. I'm not a Train spotter but do enjoy seeing the steam Trains. My old depot Ilford has a wheel lathe and a lot of the preserved steam Loco's come in to have their wheels turned.
