Looks like the something interesting might be going on with the deck? The top sides seem a lot higher towards the bow?

The leisure version has a retractable wing - it's an Ocke Mannerfelt design

Wow, love the consruction and the photo's of how the composite material is used, I bet it will be super light for its size.

If it is 40 ft UIM the min weight is 4400 kg, Marathon Rules.
Michael Silfverberg told me that the Lucas Oil boat did not need any ballast to run in P1.
1450 hp x 3,5 kg= 5075 kg. That is HEAVY with the Ilmors...

Funnily enough I'm not sure weight is the same issue it would be for P1 - with lots of power a bit of weight would be an advantage offshore in bigger waves - i would build in a decent sized bow tank unless it's a classic Ocke then it probably wouldn't need much at all. Ocke boats tend to run nose heavy ........ Of course the P1 boat may have been made stronger because they could to meet the minimum weight - As far as I know that was the first and only race boat out of that mould?
