Nice engine for in a car where they maked it for and know just like the Volkswagen v6 tdi placed marine cooling components on in the front of the engine would be a nightmare to replace only the serpetine belt !!

The turbo is not watercooled wich will glow up orange when you go 10 min WOT !!

A friend of mine have the vw and just broke the shaft of the turbo whit low hrs .

It looks good and is light but is not build for marine .

I make that heavier and less powerful than the BY260 Yanmar which is 315kg dry without gear or am I looking at the wrong weight?
