Not "Boatmad" female
Well it's Pash 1's wife (Claire) here, guess it makes a change for a female to be one line !
Tomorrow I am going on my maiden voyage on Aquaholic, so keep your eyes posted for a screaming women as nervous as hell trying to smile and do those "boat things" that you guys seem to spend hours on end chatting about 7 days a week, 24 hours a day
I have been equiped with loads of new gear for my trip, although have to admit the colours just dont suit the compexion, and the goggles play havock with the hair style!. I understand that I will be taken out to lunch somewhere in Cowes (? do I need a passport ) and I'm wondering just how well my Prada handbag will survive the trip !
Anyhow, I had best leave the site now and get back to working out which shoes to wear in the morning .
if you see (or should I say hear me !!) give me a wave, or a ring to pull me back onto dry land !
Claire

What a shame that you must be a sad and lonely old ar*e with nothing better to do than make sexist pathetic comments.
I suppose it was nearly midnight when you replied and maybe those men in their white coats were late on their rounds putting you twits into bed

Claire just remember Marty will have one hand on the wheel and the other on the throttle / gear / trim leaving him fairly defenceless.
You on the other hand should hold tightly with one hand on the grabrail and the other strategically placed at the front of Martys seat and explain that you won't hurt each other.
Job done, have a good lunch and tell him you'll drive home

He was only messing Claire, Scott is a good guy, he just clearly misjudged the spirit of your post, so don't take anything personaly.
Boatmad has been around for a good few years and that kind of banta has always been commonplace.
You can't move into a house under the Heathrow flightpath, then complain about the noisy aircraft, or seek compensation. (not if you're British anyway)
Enjoy your days boating.

Evening all,
Didn't go out today, got all the "New" gear in the car, got about three miles down the road and felt so crap with Man Flue that I've been bravely fighting off for the last few days. Had to appologise to Claire for letting her down and not going on the boat - to which she replied "There is a God" so it was back home in bed with a Lemsip and a hotwater bottle for me and a day in the garden for Claire.
Thanks Scotty for your kind words you know what I mean...
So hopefully out next weekend

Ha, I've seen you turned into a wimpering girl just cause of a little sniffle, fack knows what you'd be like if you if you got real man flu like what I've bravely fought over the last few days.
Still I will drag myself out of the bed even though death is nigh for a few sherbets to celebrate the new year . Am I a hero or what
