There were only 3 boats built. One is a wreck, one has got really bad balance problems and one is being converted to 2-litre inboard configuration.

Actually had a conversation yesterday with the lad who was co-driver in these pictures. He told med the problem with the boat is that it is narrower in the back (about 6 inches) wich makes it fall through the water in a really nasty way.

There were some touble with the boat, not often common with new designs!
So when the team had some setbacks, most of them left. Tha few ones that were left, felt that it was not wort the time and effort to finish the boat, for the time beeing!
But this summer it will be back out on the water with a inboard engine, and some changes to the hull.

Not scrapped, but put on hold so to speak.

As I said the problem with the boat was not related to performance. The boat had good speed. But handling was problematic. The narrow aft was one issue, but the wings also had flaws in its design. I reckon the design is to extreme, making it extremely hard to set up properly.
