We had both Gaffrig and Nordskog speedos on the Reefer. Both pitot tube types - the difference being the Gaffig was liquid filled and the Nordskog wasn't.

The Nordskog needle was all over the place, the Gaffrig extremely steady and accurate. It was always within 1-2 mph of GPS speed.

I fitted the Nordscog one to Richard Struttons 4 litre cat, it was a pile of shite compared to a Gaffrig, in every respect!

I am speaking only of the Gaffrig 'Competition series' tho.

We fitted a Nordskog liquid filled to our 4 litre boat - it was excellent - certainly comparable quality to a Gaffrig.

Were you fitting a liquid filled Nordskog Jon?

No, it was a very unhappy object, went all rusty on the rim after a few weeks
