Old 21ft phantom?

Hi all out there

Could anyone tell me how to tell the year of a 21ft phantom? Its got a serial number on the back but not too sure how to tell the year of the boat. Is it numbers read back to front (as some are) or in some particular number order.

Help needed cheers

Thanks for the info I do remember it being on a thread sometime ago but forgot.

I won't post the serial number yet as its not fair to the owner, but I think the boat was on here for sale a long time ago as well as on boats and outboards .
