No not for what you're thinking. But use delrin a good bit for bearings/ bushings etc. Can't see why it wouldn't work if used as a spacer block. Its tough stuff.
On a VERADO 250/solent rib 750 we did a hi density specer made from PEHD 1000 High Density black, excellent result, thickness 30mm for this application.
not easy to see on these pictures, the spacer is between the lift plate and the saddles. PEHD- High Density Molecular Polyethylene | Fip Articoli Tecnici | Padova - Italy
Easy to find in Europe. thickness 50mm exist also, better to buy and cut from a specialist shop at the dimension you're looking for instead of buying a complete plate, too expensive for your project.

I have successfully used 4" aluminium spacers in conjunction with a BMS manual jack on a Ring 21c. I have also seen many boats, especially from Belgium, using plywood blocks.
Frenchbruno, that's the same i want to do, only with some bigger blocks ! A collque of mine has a toolshop (he's going to quit), so he has some rough material left..

Gar163y, do you maybe have some pictures? 4" aluminium would also be fine offcourse, but I was wondering for more options. I don't prefer plywood, but when you use a good polyurethane primer/varnish it can work indeed. Did you mount it between transom and lift?
