I think you might be better putting a picture of speedy " it's the quickest 9.9 in the harbour".
Hi Steve, good to hear your taking it easy!

Moving forward with the websites need to speak to Ian really but will have site outlines with him for Monday. Regarding the Fletcher
You cannot be serious about the Fletcher can you? As a family boat I am really pleased with it, its quite good a party boat as well Firework night in Salcombe was excellent! Speed wise the max I have had out of it is 38-39 mph. handling wise it’s like driving a bus compared to the phantom. But you can over night on it, its great for entertaining, its easily tow able with the car, good for a days wakeboarding / skiing / donuting great for drinking beers on whilst on the sun bed and listening to the stereo, the Yamaha four stoke is fantastic and the camper hood is great for weekends away when its raining. To be honest for the money it’s the Don! Fletcher seem to offer loads of customer support / advice and excellent service when you need something.

To be honest if I didn’t have Oliver I would have a brought an Extreme instead however the Fletcher feels really child friendly and other people seem to think its a safe boat for their kids to go on as well due to the high sides and the limited accommodation thats on offer given its only a 19 foot boat.

P.s. need a new speedy for Oliver if you see something suitable let me know!

P25 with twins

Hi!

I remember back that I mailed with the owner of the black P25 with twin 2.5's with new alien cowlings. I am not suprised that the boat ended up to be very tail heavy using SS midsections with built in 2 inch setback and powerlifts (CMC 5,5 inch each). Lots of weight back there.

I also have two 2.5 SS engines, but with old style race cowlings. The engines can be mounted closer to each other (19 inches vs 23 inches) making the center of gravity lower (balance better). I also have the engines mounted directly on to the transom with 2 inch setback, and the boats fly level in high seas and is predictable. It runs like on rails despite the fact that the props are turing inward. However, I have to test different props since the boat still needs bowlift.

Still a little uncertain about the best propheigh. I have the propshafts approx. 1 inch below the bottom. Maybe to low / too high....

PM 25 with twin rules. Great great fun!

Cheeers, Toffen G
