Yes, it is the same one that was up for sale about two years ago after lying in a field for some time.

Its funny how the guy who's selling it "really wanted to restore it to its former glory" but decided to dump it on some old tyres leaning up against a wall out in the open instead.

Take's allsorts i guess!

Could make a good project but id take a good look at it first or else we'll all be reading a familiar story again in a couple of years.

That one looks like it has had its day though particularly if it has been left uncovered for some time

Panteras are said to be one of the best offshore rough water boats available, with build quality to match! Just watch some of the youtube footage of them racing against boats much bigger

Blistered gelcoat, rotten stringers or any rotten wood anywhere, the condition of the fibreglass and that it was constructed properly in the first place and there are no signs of delamination or botched repairs etc etc.

Remember, fitting something like this out with twin motors (and not an odd pair of outboards strapped to the swim platform) is going to cost some hard dough so if you were going to do it it needs to be a good hull otherwise your throwing money down the drain.

And boats are not "investments" for the majority of owners, they are an expensive hobby.

I just had a look at that, isn't it the one that's knackered and is outside Leaway having been splashed, or about to be splashed? I'm sure there was a thread about it

I can't believe I've become a household name of sorts, I'm so proud!
Pauls right about the one in the boatyard, definately those splashing rib making nobbers.

I wouldn't touch anything that's been sat around now I know what's involved in a full rebuild, its a can of worms every time and just not worth it!

James
