Ok how about this then - you do the photos and the write up and I'll make sure it gets in the magazine as you write it with your name on it!
Of course if you don't want the great unwashed reading about your project then I understand!

Lifted the deck clear of the old girl today.
bit of a clear up, getting ready for the stiffening up of the top edge, then we flip it over.

Sorry John, no, no intensions to produce boats for customers. There'll be a race one, and my pleasure one.
The original.....maybe Basildon at some point if they want it.

I really don't know yet. I guess I have to decide/make sure that I prefer the new one to the old one before I can even think about it.
I got a .pdf of the full build schedule for my boat from Steve yesterday, and when I look at the incredible attention to detail of the drawings, specification, and the gazilion little details that went into making it a proper build (specifically for me), It brings back all the memories of my twice weekly visits to Sittingbourne during the build, and I find it hard to imagine ever selling it...time will tell I guess.

Ok, and to save some time, we could ship it with some release wax, glass-cloth and resin.
Joking aside, we're not going into production, only making a couple, maybe three.
I actually think the likelyhood of someone wanting to splash it is pretty slim, as there's already plenty of moulds out there for P28 copies and the stretched to 33, C33, so why would anyone go to the trouble & expense, after all, it's basically the same boat.

Actually, it was always going to be two, possibly three.
1) RB08 boat, this will remain Nicks boat for pleasure use after RB (and who knows, could be re-engined for maverick C-T-C races, I mean 'rallies')
2) One for me (at some point)
3) and maybe one for Matt (at some point) if he still wants one when he sees the abortion we've made of it..
