Phantom 21 by Cobra Ribs
Checking if anyone over here would have knowledge or perhaps even own experiences with the Cobra made Phantom 21.
How do they compare with the real thing? (design, build quality, weight, performance, etc). Found a couple for sale and would appreciate any insight. I don't intend to necessarily race one, although that is also an option. Most likely it would serve as a really fast pleasure boat.
Thanks in advance!

Thanks Zander!
Got a couple of pm's along the same lines...
There were just a couple interesting Cobra P21's with 200XS's for sale
I guess I'll stick to the Dutch P21 for a while. Haven't heard bad things about those yet. To my understanding they are built even a bit stronger than the originals and are therefore a bit heavier.

Phantom 21
Hi there, the cobra boats are not as good as the original if your gonna pay good money just buy an original plus they are appreciating in value.
The original in my opinion handles better and solid built.
Ive had both cobra version and Steve baker version and the Steve baker was so much better in the water. Felt like the 4 stroke was sluggish much better with the 2 stroke Mercury?
Regards Dean.
PS: I know where there is an original Steve baker phantom 21 including the original painted decals in Kent. It is a one off 7 seater deep hull version with a stainless steel radar Arch which was fitted by Steve baker the maker himself it has a large Mercury race outboard stainless steel race prop and a race leg, maybe 200-260hp A real one off future collectors boat.
It's in his garage back of his shop and he said he's going to sell it as he wants a large rib. I think around 8k not sure maybe worth asking. There contact number is Super leisure store
01795229491 ask for A bloke called Chris well worth a look very nice boat.

Bow tank.
Not sure, that bloke at super leisure store sells those kind of things and he has lots of used boat parts in a warehouse round the back, plus he has a original Steve baker phantom 21. Give him a call.

Phantom
I agree, Steve baker is the best. I've had all builds of phantoms and I've always gone back to Steve baker.
