yeah paul will be good to catch up was thinking of maybe doing the poker run next year with a bit of luck will post some more pics soon of the build have pulled the motor off and removed most of the trim so will post some more pics of the progress

Yes here are some more pics of the strip down of the boat ?
Unfortunately the back of the dash needs a little attention ?
However wont be to much of a drama to repair will have to cut out a new piece of ply and re glass in behind the dash and start again with placement of the gauges and the helm .
The helm was to say a bit flexible and some one had fitted a metal brace behind the dash in a attempt to strengthen the dash ??

yeah we got the boat from a small boatyard in Margate, we then kept it at Littlehampton marina.

as far as we know, it was bought from UK Customs. it was impounded by them in Gibraltar. doing night runs back and forth to Africa. Thats what we were told anyway.

I tried interstrip and some other crap. Wouldnt do it again. Spent £100 and hours on different chemical removers.

Some dude on here does soda blasting. Quoted me a price only half again for boatmad rates.

Sorry for the delay on the progress on the p23 build ??
But here are some pics of the fiberglass repairs we have repaired 3 holes in the transom well and re gel coated.
Also we have re glassed a new piece of 18mm marine ply behind the whole of the dash board as the original dash was in a bad way and the front of the dash has been re gel coated the dash as well.
Also have made a new piece of 25mm marine ply to be glassed down for the front seats to be fitted to and a new foot throttle pad to be glassed into place as the old one was pulling out of the floor will post some more pics as more work is down ??

sorry its been a while but been away on holiday
then back to work and have been very busy and had to wait for the fiber glasser to have the time to do some more which he done on sunday
but back to work on the dash have cut out all the holes for the clocks ,helm and the switches
as you can see in the pics the original holes were off center but i think they look better were they are know ??
also we have glassed in a new plate for the foot throttle and started building a new locker in the floor under the kick board more posts coming when i get the rest of the trim from rich [ driver 510 ] which i have to say thanks for your help with the holes in the dash
