Does anyone know the boat and is it a UK Phantom

Can't be sure, but the lower screen height makes me think it's a Chaudron copy, or similar, and not a Sittingbourne Phantom.

Would stand corrected though.

Somewhat suspicious of the single crappy black & white picture too. If I was selling a boat and wanted to show how clean & tidy it was, I'd have plenty of crystal clear colour photos on my add.

One of which is now Steve Mac's (Mutz Nutz)

Still think the screen looks low though, as the 25 had quite a tall upright screen.

Look how much taller Richards genuine P25 screen appears:

Of course, we need a similar pic to the ad of Richards to really tell.

If you look at the cowlings it seems the whole picture is shorter than it should be, the price seems a bit rediculous too

Original P25,s

Worked extensively on two original Steve Baker built P25,s and for what its worth i have found that there is a 20mm difference between the left hand and the right hand sides when measured just in front of the windscreen and coming in to the middle upright centre walkway sides and the screen IS a lot higher than that shown in the black boat advert.

I'm pretty sure the advert for that particular P25 with the 2.5's is donkeys years old. From memory, it looked genuine.

I thought that photo looked familiar - Reddish Marine had quite a bit to do with that boat, the owner is sadly no longer with us - I do remember there were engine issues with the boat but if it's the one I think it is, it was a genuine Phantom and in good condition ............ then!

I emailed the seller with some questions and no answer ..............

Yup, I think so.

Got stolen, and recovered without motors.

The posting date shows Feb 2004! At that price it maybe it is still for sale. If you click on the thumbnail at the bottom of the ad, the pic is small but clearer and the screen looks much taller.
