It's true - I got sent the "latest" ECU from Belgium earlier this year - wish I hadn't bothered now! Anyone know the difference in performance between the two ECU's?

It was noticed when Rob Mcarthy was borrowing my motor and gearbox to try and improve his speed and get nearer Hutchy's record as he thought he had a 280 but it was a 260!

Looking forward to another ECU from Belgium in the post!

What?
So 'cos your boat couldn't regain the record, you tried for your motor to do the job on someone else's boat?

Steve, what is the record(s) that you've set with your 97+mph?

Thought you'd gone for the Outboard Immersed Propeller Monohull. By the way Jim Noone collected your silver star so I guess he'll pass it on through Mike.

I have looked at the Coniston speed record site and I see no classes listed with this years speeds, or am I just not looking in the correct place?

You have to check the "this years entries" page for the class the driver entered. Note the sequence number for the particular class as sometimes drivers enter several classes. I will do a final list which shows each driver and any improvements he made during the week and in what class.

Thanks, that works. I was especially interested in Helen Loney's outright electric speed. Does anyone have an e-mail for Helen or their team.
Thanks Mike.

I think French Phil must be thinking of building an electric record boat, He's showing an awful lot of interest.

Yes I have a project with the guy who runs the French Offshore Website. But it'd hard to find the time. For those who understand french take a look at :

Hi Phil
Sorry for piggy backing someone else's post. With all the new technology I think it is an interesting time for electrics. Here is a video of our latest creation . I have received the APBA record document and UIM is ratifying the record.
