Pi$$ed Orf

Started off as a good day when i got a call to say "Mr Foolish" we have finally finished the Wellcraft for you, "It has been fully tested and runs like a dream". "As well as replacing both engine bearers and the transom we have also changed the drive bellows / hoses / filters / fluids / plugs etc. and the IMPELLOR."....

So we all set of for the marina with our picnic expecting leisurely afternoon on the river and our first outing on the boat.

to be continued .......

nothing exciting i'm afraid

we all boarded and the kids were well excited about finally getting out on the boat albeit on the river, the salesman Craig was there to bid us fairwell, engine started and purred like a kitten.. when after only 90 seconds ....

whats that noise ?..... feck that sounds bad ! ..... where's all that smoke coming from ???

seems like the raw water pump bearing gave up and seized then the V8 done it's best to mangle everything,

oh well at least the marina is still paying the bill and it's a big one

Thats extremely bad luck Foolish. A great dissappointment for you all.

I think id walk away from that one and take my money elsewhere, id have the serious "ebee jeebies" about that one.

Good Luck on the outcome.
