Whoooah
Throught hub Cleaver
That will give stern lift characteristics when driven
I reckon your hull needs bow lift
Woth some money though so dont give them away !
Better off with OMC Raker prop I think but the other Pirahana owners could perhaps clarify

you will see , to find the right prop without a benchmark it will cost time and money .

Like big dutch mentioned, the clevers will give stern lift and both are not the right prop for your v8, they are ok on a very light hull with high revving small displacement engines.

cleavers will slip a lot and they are not good for hole shot ,if you try the 23 pitch your engine will act like a slipping clutch , it will rev high real fast with all that big cubic inch torque and you boat does nothing , just smoke and lots of sprayed water behind the transom.

you need a prop that's convert the torque of your motor into forward trust and good bow lift to get the front out of the water.
go for a used stainless 26 4 blade or 28 3 blade to start testing, don't spend lots of cash in the first one it will be not the last one .

this engine is well tuned a monster , have taken a closer look on the dyno sheet from the Scandinavian 370 hp v8

it had already at 3000 rpm 300 newton meter of torque and at 4000 410 and 6000 463,that's almost the same toque as a 1969 corvette with a 327 v8 engine !! and all that torque goes to a small 14 to 15 inch diameter prop in
h2o environment .

what prop type was used from the pre owner, any information ?

Hallo germanansleen,

Ok, the pre owner, i don't belive a Lot of the Things he Said!!!!!

Alomost very Strange informations, Same Talk and Look than Care of the Boat.

His speach:" the clever for Top fast driving, and he take the Other One for waterski."

Right was, he Said that the cleaver is Not a Fast Sprinter and it will Takes a Time an Feeling with the throttle to get the Boat in Motion up to topspeed of 85mp/h, but i don't beleef him.

For shure, it Takes Time to find the right One. My Way too,mto spend Not so much Money for some testrockets, but when i Know exact what is needed, i will go to get it in my possebilities.

In my Friends/Dealers stock is for shure a bigger one Four Blade. On His Boat is a 300 too, but a New E-Tec V6.

His Guys in the neigbourhood are also equiped with speedtoys.

What is a right ca. Price for a Final Threeblade prop? Thanx.
