Right then gents....Sorry for the delay in progress & updates!!
Firstly thanks to Rich for coming down & helping us get the engine of the P23 & onto AndyMac's P20!
First task was to remove all the interior, carpet, pumps etc, I then ground through the fibreglass around the false floor then pulled the centre floor piece out.
Once we had emptied the petrol I filled it with water & a bit of washing up liquid. Once it was full, I cut a hole in the top of the tank so I could get the angle grinder in to cut the tank in half in order to remove it.
Access hole cut out & water drained out I set about cutting round the tank, got about a third of the way round and Boom, A huge fireball blew out of the tank through the access hole, I jumped up, out of the boat & ran round the side of the house and switched the hose on & started dousing the flames at which point Dad came out so I passed him the hose, jumped back in the boat & grabbed the fire extinguisher & put the fire out, I then swapped that for the hose and proceeded to spray water over my face for a 5 minutes despite it being about -2 degrees, by that time the next door neighbour had come outside to see if I was okay after her house shook from the explosion, After assuring her I was okay & everything was under control we went inside where I & looked in the mirror & saw that all the skin on my face was badly burnt, all my hair burnt and on my forehead the skin had peeled off & curled up, so we took a trip to the hospital where the put me into an induced coma & took me to a specialist burns hospital where I woke up the following morning!
Thanks everyone for all your support!
Here's a few pics!

3, 4 - Grinding through the fibreglass holding the false floor down
5 - After the drama, the mess the fire extinguisher left behind

Probably a stupid question, but why were you cutting the tank? Did it need replacing?

Changing the existing 300L tank to a 150L which will make the balance of the boat better plus I will have more storage space

hose pipe
I see you had the hose pipe ready.I've just done a similar job on my 19 I had to grind some screws holding down a false floor over the fuel tank, and I think I was lucky to have not had what happened to you-I did have a fire extinquisher to hand just in case.A few years back I split a fuel tank on my race car and had to weld it but I first put a naked flame to the filler neck it then went woosh and I kept a naked flame going as I was welding-a bit scary though.cheers Nic

Update!
Old holes in filled - dowles had a couple circles of rovings laid over them & were hammered , then the outside of the dash was rebaited & oversized circles of rovings over each one on the front, on the back one piece of roving to seal it all in fully.
& here it is after a coat of gell & a polish
Thanks to Tony Davis for all his help & advise through this part of the build!!!

Transom!
Trim tabs & Jack removed, dowles soaked in resin & hammered in with a piece of chopped strand between boat & dowel, rebaited across the tops of all the dowles & put 3 laters of matting over top to seal properly & stop the gel cracking, then sanded smooth....
& here it is after a few hours of sanding & polishing!
Thanks again to Tony D at this stage for his advise!

Seat 'risers'
The seat's used to be mounted on small bumps which were in the wrong place
So they removed & a layer of chop over the top to seal the wood
Thanks for Steffy for coming down with lunch & helping with the angle grinding!

Bow tank pickup
The original bow tank had an 'over transom' pickup and one of the 'drain plug' valves through the bottom of the transom for the dump, So that was removed & a new combined pickup was made which uses the same hole, the 'dump' will be about the same but should pickup much faster..
New pickup fabricated:

Tank is bolted in & plywood floor glassed in over the top
Andymac then cut out the holes for the storage hatches, at which point the floor was a little flimsy so a support brace was made & the joints were re-inforced with kevlar
Thanks to AndyMac at this stage for cutting holes & helping glass the floor in!
Battery fitted. Thanks again to TD for getting that cheap for me!
