Last I heard was the guy was short of cash and was open to offers. The boat is very tidy, shame the owner does not know how to drive it. I personally would not want the Yams, but each to their own. The rigging leaves a lot to be desired, especially for a twin rig. The steering does not look up to the job.

No, the original 'Phantom' company, founded in '69 had a designer by the name Stephen Baker.

The US company who chose to use the same company name, founded some years later, has an owner, who I 'believe' is also the designer, his name is Will Smith.

Baker & Smith, similar, but not the same. I guess one made bread and the other hit bits of metal with a hammer (like Kitten)
