Cheers mate, but kinda expensive bringing my boat over to UK just for that!

Maybe I was unclear; Im not thinking about removing the paint (antifouling itselft), the boat has never had any on. So some places the gelcoat has a thin brown layer of some sort... Any ideas on how to get it off?

Get some brick and patio cleaner from the DIY shop, put on gloves and use a paint brush to apply avoid contact with skin and trailer, brush on and leave 5 mins then completely wash off with hose pipe. Hull will look like new, finally allow to dry and apply a coat of wax.

Cant help thinking that may etch the gelcoat surface. Sure, it will remove the stains quickly and easily but if it does etch the surface it wont be long before the stains are back.

Id definately choose the G3 option over brick acid any day.

Im pretty sure starbright do a good cleaner for gelcoat stains.

Have used the starbright cleaner its ok, but hydrochloric acid is the way to go its basically just on and off used it on boats for years. Google "hydrochloric acid (muriatic) acid Gel Coat" Loads of people use it you are more likely to "etch" the gelcoat with a Jet Wash IMHO.
