What sort of condition is the trailer going to be in if its been stood for 2 years? You could be opening a can of worms here......... like Ciao says, do yourself a favour and get a decent trailer. If you talk to the right people on here you should get one at the right price

just stick up a post in "Powerboats/Marine Parts Wanted/For Sale" and ask for a good condition trailer to suit a Phantom xx

I do about 100,000 miles a year and you would be amazed how many boats I see on the hard shoulder coz the trailer is knackered.

In fact saw a beatiful P21 J6 M25 being loaded on to a pick up truck coz the trailer had broke ...

there's a possibility you could do a deal with 'ice cream truck' (boatmad member) as he is about to buy a P21 & trailer in Jersey, and ship it all home, you could buy the trailer, and we could drive the boat home!!

no, but he doesn't want to pay £430 quid to ship the boat home either, or pay the duty/vat on it.

the hull is nice no stress cracks etc it just needs a good clean as its a bit dull. do you know what hes paying for it. my mate offered him £ 5k for it and he wouldnt take it, we didnt think it was worth more than 6 k. out of interest how much does a nice p20/21 rig go for in the uk as i was going to kook for a new one at the end of the year

The Phantoms make a lot more money over here, a late 21 (latest were '97) with similar age motor, in good nick could easily make 10K, so i'd keep a lookout over there.

we're cumin over tomorrow morning to view the 21, we already have a deposit holding it, just need to check it out.
