Might be a 300 but isnt the suzuki a 4 stroke that is V heavy and low revving - not a race motor

Bet if ya stuck a 280 efi or 300 drag on the back it would go like stink!! Surely to be a race boat it would just need a (or 2 ) race engine (s)

might blow up after a little bit of use but would certainly put a smile on your face!!

The ringcat is a lovely boat, a very safe, stable performing outfit, very suited to UK offshore waters. Top end may be lacking but you have usability throughout the envelope rather than being a flat water greyhound.
Maybe I was a little harsh on the speeds. 60 is a 200HP rig, High 60s for large 250 + singles maybe just 70, twin XR2 If I recall was just over 70.

Spare cash Id have one tomorrow Purrrrrrrfect for the kids as well as fast fun.

This is sorta true but nothing to worry about.

The edge of the casting broke off where the trim guide is (on the bottom of the saddle) never ever seen one break here before

I suspect something got jambed in it and it broke off

Fantastic service from Suzuki though I reported it on Tuesday of this week and had it completed and back on the water today. They even raised the engine FOC.

The engine is a fantastic piece of kit, so smooth with masses of torque throughout the rev range.

With the higher engine we are now seeing about 63mph I suspect the engine needs to go up another 4-5 inches
