Na, when you see em on a rib, it's for the 'tyre on a rope', which is the toy of choice for the oul chimps.

Did it sink

I can't find my post I made but I am 99% sure that the boat burty posted had sunk and was for sale as a project on boatsandoutboards and I posted it up on here. There cant be that many phantom 18's wiv a climbing frame. Looks like someone has bought it, fixed it up and is now selling it on.

Yup, it was swamped on a beach, we traded a few emails with the seller about a month back

I guess so because I can't find them. I think it was November time I posted it so it looks like the new owner has stripped the engine down and got the boat back together in 5 months. Take note captain!

Call me 'Mr Sensible' but you should never tow inflatables from your roll bar.

I saw a RIB go upside down, 10ft from the beach in Cornwall last year. Guy was towing a 'Mable' (like an inflatable sofa) with 2 adults on it. He decided to start off with the motor on a hard left and because the inflatable was on his left and tied off the top of the roll-bar, his RIB pivoted and went inverted in the blink of an eye.

Luckily no-one was hurt, but I think the guy's pride was a bit dented. Took 4 of us to get it back the right way up because the roll-bar was stuck in the sand!

I thought all RIBs had blow-up things on the roll-bar to make them the right way up again. This guy was seriously under-equipped.

Your barking up the wrong tree!

this 'tyre on a rope' swings from the 'A' frame just like the one in the Monkey enclosure, for their enjoyment.

shame when you have to explain a joke
