The seller seems to be a bit of an Arfur Daley looking at his previous items. But nothing over a grand and no other boats or bits of boats. I'll keep an eye on it. Just spent my last 80 grand anyway.

I think so Turnip, I'm getting that Donzi surveyed as we speak. I've organised a geezer to bring it back to me from Germany. Just the haggling to sort out. There were a couple of Pachanga 32's but they wanted silly money and had no trailers. I'll keep you posted. Here's a taster :

Is it real 112mph boat??
I didn't realise that boat that big with twin 500 can run that fast
I believe that cig 38 gladiator or donzi 38 ZR with staggered 525's runs like 90-95 mph
Why is it that fast?? Does it weight like 2000lbs less than those boats??
P1 class boat also runs less than 100mph with those power and size

There's a 42 in Cobbs at the moment, with a pair of 600's on six's, supposed to do 100+

Current 38 Lightening is listed at 98+ with twin 525 EFI's. Also worth noting is the 90 gallons per hour at 96 MPH . Who cares about a few MPH when you're pissing £500 an hour into the water. Why that's almost enough money to keep a woman shopping.

It looks like some "spy photos" that I saw when it was being prepared so it might be that one!

In the US, 38ft boats with twin 525's are running at between 105-108mph
The dragon (sisterboat of ours) was running 105mph
Remember they are very light (7,000lbs) and run in flat water with silly gear ratios (1.34) because it is mostly straight line racing
Bring it over here, add 1 tonne of weight (for P1 they have to weigh 10,500lbs), change the gear ratios to deal with tight circuits ... and you lose 15+ mph
I think the Fountain is Jamie's old one as his sponsor was Compsport ... logo is still on the boat
