These make sad viewing.....enough to turn THUNDERBOLT to drink. 10 minute drive from me, been in this guy's front garden for 30 years or more, from a beautiful boat to this! Fire damage was caused by yobs trying to set fire to it on bonfire night.

I went out on my boat today at Littlehampton and took advantage of having the camera with me.
Is this the Cougar that is being entered in RB by Steve Creed?
Tub Humping is looking very sad now, a shame cause I saw her racing out of Littlehampton only a few years ago.
There is also an old wooden boat that must have been a very majestic number in its hayday. Ironically it reminds me a bit of The Spirit of Ecstacy.
The 007 boat Shakespear perhaps - real Bond boat or make believe?

Tim, No ideas re UFO do you have any more info? Christina has original dashboard complete with all dials, original steering wheel, throttle levers etc, rudders, shafts, props, maybe engines!!! Couldn't be sure though. The boat is not restorable - such a waste.

Just round the corner from here is not so much where the elephants come to die but old wooden boats. Lost count as to how many!!

Ufo
Tim, thanks for the extra info on UFO - bloodhounds fed and watered, will keep you posted. Can't help with Jackie S, found a couple of picture though (in the days of black and white). Remember my Dad taking me to Torquay to see the winners arrive. I think Dad took these photos (1964!!) such a long time ago.
