Speed Record Classes

Hi,

sorry if it's a daft question but, are the Outboard Pneumatics records for inflatable boats?
I’ve tried to find the definitions of each class but can’t find much on them. If you could advise me or point me in the right direction I’d appreciate it.
For example what is the difference between P850FH and PF850?

Thanks

Anyone know if there's a class I could run my thundercat in?
It's got a Yamaha 70ces on it, which will be modified

There is a free hull, pneumatic 850c.f. class, world record, but not sure what the qualification is for it!

Cheers, that's the class I was looking at but I'm not sure if there are weight or modification restrictions.
If the only rules are that it has to be a free inflatable hull with a max of 850cc engine that would be grand.

Can I ask where you found the 850CF class? The only list I have doesn't show that, just the PF850 and P850FH. Not sure what the difference between the two is.

Fiona Pascoe

If you give Fiona Pascoe a call at Thundercat racing then she should be able to point you in the right direction.
To run at records week though you would need to join a club and do some racing to prove your competance. You can't just turn up with a fast boat and run.
Hope that helps
Will
