Yeh, I think it's only been out a while.

I didn't have any problems getting them to understand me though, perhaps it's coz your a "Cockernee Nobber"

How spooky is this though, whilst scanning the first mag, the postman delivers my Hotboat mag!

Yeh, funny enough it is. It was powered by a pair of 175hp mercs, and didn't exactly set the world alight. I raced with Alan Gorey of "Miss Fitz" fame, ask jonni about the cocktails!

We bought it to do the 86 4 litre worlds in Guernsey. 22 of us in the team, and we went over on the ferry from Portsmouth. The ferry company closed the bar on us coz they were in danger of running out of booze.

Had a great time in Guernsey, the highlight was seeing Howard W being presented with a Marzipan hat at prize giving. He'd said that if we ever beat him in our Phantom he'd eat his hat! So we asked his wife what he hated the most.

The other good bit was seeing Alan wheeled onto the dance floor totally naked, kneeling on the sweet trolley, don't think the mayor approved.

Self employed is ok, but unemployed is better. Money's not so good, but the hours are superb!

Alan Leeson, did a couple of races with his wife, before he p/x'd it for a bag of cash and my Ring 20!

Funny enough I had a meeting with him at the Miami show 2 years ago. He wanted to buy some moulds to build boats in Florida, seemed quite keen but the price put him off!
