Na, that was the Navy Blue Russian jobbie with the Trimax's / Yanmars.

Target practice.

Remember the big Hunton patrol boats well. Was there 3?

Pic here. We built 4 Seastalkers for Abu Dhabi Police. Triple Yanmar 440, SDS drives, 56knots.

The Gibraltar Police boat hulls were built by us, based on our 28 hull, and finished by Flatacraft.

As for Peter Penn, nothing personal I think he just hit evereyone including that very expensive Trimax Russian boat. Never paid, said the big gouge could just be rubbed out.

Hi ,
Gib police still use them ribs , they also had one with much bigger tubes all around ,must say not to sexy looking rib that one. they now have the tubes in black . they have had a few just like one on pic ,i think they have 2 now in water.

When they first bought that rib on pic and used to be called to attend a call they had to start engines and wait for revs to go down as they were autochoke ,not being able to wait for revs to go down as an emergency call , after engaging to gear after a few calls they use to blow the gear boxes.

They then started to buy Evinrudes 300 or 275 i think ,but same thing was happening as they are also autochoke ers

They then started to buy Marina 250s and now they have Mercs salt water 250, i guess they must be key choke as i never heard them blowing more gear boxes.
