Right, well it seems there was less interest in this subject than hoped!

I still have 5 DVD's left! who's gonna donate summat to Chris's cause to get one?

Or,

Chris, should I send you the 5 discs, and you can see what can be done?

Carl, I'll post the video, and your DVD to you this week.

cheers.

The bad news is that I think Basildon are going to shift Surfury in the next few weeks - I dont know much but will try to find out.
John I have the DVDs you sent - so sorry just havent been able to action, please let me know anybody who wants one & I WILL send them out - for a donation of either time, support or money.
Thanks to you all for your fantastic support.

Just to keep anybody interested in the picture on Surfury. The immediate threat of Surfury being taken and placed into a private NMM store has passed - she is afe at Basildon pobably until the end of the year. The other good news is that the museum at Cowes is interested in taking her, especially as they are proposing to be reloacted into the proposed East Cowes development. We need to get the NMM to release ownership of her & then to get some funds for interim storage and some cosmetic reparation. It si significant that this website has been instrumental in bringing this to fruition and I wish to thank all the guys who have supported us & used their contacts to bring this hope to be. We are meeting in Cowes on 18th of Sept and hope from this some further positive news will be fothcoming. Thanks to John F, Tony, Mike J, Chris W, David S as well Julie at Basildon for all you have done and are doing.
Regards Chris Grayer
