Testing the Spot tracker

Went out for a bit of a prop test last night (which went very well by the way) and tried out the Spot Tracker which we will be using for our Round Britain trip Spot Track Looks like we were a bit fast for it!

A pair of these - a modified version of our existing props with a bit of "cupping" applied by Propeller Solutions to give us a bit of bow lift, they seem to work well and we are now doing 68 - 69mph with 500 RPM to go, just need some flatter water to see if they will pull 4000 RPM and if so what speed. For the record the motors are still standard.

Had a day out to deepest darkest Cornwall yesterday - Had lunch at Richard Mason's lovely establishment a short walk from the boat in Charlestown and then went round to Falmouth for a brief stop before coming back to Salcombe via the Eddystone. The boat ran faultlessly and we can't wait to set off round Britain on the 21st of June!

Here's the map Should have turned it on earlier!

Some photos from Saturday - Salcombe slip was quiet! The boat tied up for lunch in Charlestown, Eddystone Lighthouse and the view from the back seat.
